The work assigned in the packet will be due April 21st. Please let me know if you have any questions! You may print the handouts or just write your results from your experiments (or math problems) on plain paper to submit; you do not need a printer to complete any of my assignments. Also, I used all of the remaining "Christmas bonus points" in case some of you were wondering why your grade changed a few points. I have attached a link to all of the posted assignments that are not found in your book: LINK

Anatomy:
·         Read over chapter 11 (familiarize yourself with the content; you don't have to read every word) and use companion website,
·        Complete Chapter 11 Lab Investigation (email info and completed questions from handout to me)
·        Draw and label the complete cardiovascular system using images from the book (details listed on #44 on page 409.) (email completed drawing to me)

Biology:
·         Read over chapter 11 (Familiarize yourself with the content; you don't have to read every word.)
·        Page 303, “Apply” #1 (Draw a diagram of a food chain.)
·        Page 284, “Application” #6 (List the biotic and abiotic factors in your home.)
·        Read the tan boxes on pages 282, 289, 299, then go explore God’s living creation! You will then write a report on your findings; nothing too big, simply a page describing what you observed. Please include pictures and/or drawings! (Email your findings to me.)

Health:
·        Hand washing experiment (You will have to modify a bit since we are not actually in class; just do the best you can with a family member.) (Email results to me from the handout.)

Earth and Space:
·        Skim chapter 9 and read the section (9.1, 9.2, or 9.3) that is associated with your project
·        Design ONE experiment of your choice!
-        Tornado in a bottle (see instructions posted below)
-        Barometer (p. 264)
-        Psychrometer (p. 265)
-        Rain gauge (p. 270)
Please do not go out and purchase anything for this project! Just use what you have around the house and make modifications as necessary. Feel free to search the internet for similar examples that the book details in order to use the materials you have on hand! (Email me a photo and description of your experiment!)

Algebra:
·        8.3, numbers 1-31, blue boxes (this ends up being 3 problems a day.) (Email a photo of your work, including the problem, work, and answer to me.)
·        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhyOu6HyWAE is a helpful you tube video; there are several more videos that I found helpful!
