Great job on participating in homecoming last week, 5th graders!

Tests next week:

Monday -  Science 

Tuesday - trial spelling (list 20) and history

Wednesday - math and spelling

Thursday - language and reading vocab (#20)

Please help your child study this week! We have several tests this week as a result of an easier last week due to homecoming. I have given them a study guide for the science and history tests. We will be reviewing all subjects in class before each exam.

Week of January 22nd-26th

It’s homecoming week! Don’t forget to dress up each day and bring in pennies for our penny war! We will have a pep rally and basketball games on Friday!

Wednesday: spelling 

Thursday: reading vocab

The deadline for completing the young writer’s story is Tuesday. (This cannot be done at home.) Please check out the fundraising packet we sent home Friday as well as the theme for how to dress each day for homecoming week.

Due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there is no school Monday!

Tuesday -  trial spelling (2nd half of list 18)

Wednesday - spelling and history

Thursday - reading vocab quiz 

Friday - Bible (Romans 12:14-16) and math

Each student will be presenting a current event to the classroom next Friday. (It will be 1-2 minutes on an article from God's World News.)

We are currently working on our Young Writer's Story. This cannot be done at home; it must be done in class only.

There will not be a spelling or bible test this week. All book reports are due Wednesday morning.
