Week of September 4th-7th

No school Monday! I postponed the language test until next week because the class wasn't ready for it. Don't forget to send in a signed note saying you read the blog so your kiddo can "clip up!"  Bringing in Box Tops is also a "clip up!" There will be a PTF (parent and teacher fellowship) meeting immediately after school on Tuesday, September 4th. Please come share your ideas!Our school Literature Fair is on Tuesday, September 25. It is a requirement that all 5th graders participate; I sent home a packet containing all this information.

Tests next week:

Tuesday - trial spelling and language tests

Wednesday - math, science, spelling tests

Thursday - vocab and history quiz

Friday - history test

Week of August 27th - 31st

Note: I have postponed the language test until next Tuesday because the kiddos aren't all ready yet.

Congratulations on making it through the first week of the school year! I am very proud of each of your kiddos; they have worked very hard. 

Picture day is Thursday, August 30th and Chapel will be Wednesday morning, August 29th.

Thursday - reading vocab quiz

Friday -  Bible test, history quiz, science quiz

(I realize that this seems like a lot for the second week of school, but I will do my very best to make sure they are all ready before I give them any graded assignment.)
