We had a great time at the public library and La Carretta this past week! A special thank you to the parents that helped us out!

Thank you for your patience with the new pick-up procedure; we are doing all we can to ensure everyone's safety as well as make pick-up as smooth and efficient as possible.

Tests and research deadlines next week:

Monday: math

Tuesday: trial spelling (list 24) and history; preliminary outline due

Wednesday: spelling; oral book report

Thursday: reading vocab quiz

Friday: 20 note cards completed

We will be going on a field trip to the Nicholas County Courthouse to learn about careers in local government Tuesday morning. 

Please don't forget that the SNOW PACKETS are due Tuesday, February 28th.

Four students in our classroom are participating in the social studies fair on Monday, February 19th; don't forget to bring in everything you need for your presentation!

NLCA Book Fair is Monday, Feb. 19-Friday, Feb. 23!

Parent Teacher conferences are Monday, February 19, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Snow packets were sent home on Friday, February 16.  They are due back on Wednesday, February 28.

Please Join us for a special Chapel service for the Dillard family this Wednesday morning. The school will be selling bracelets and key chains to help with the expenses of bringing Micheal home. 

The senior class will be selling lollipops this week for $1. You can personalize it as well as send a message to your Valentine!

Please go to the school website and complete two parent surveys!

The parent-teacher conferences are on Monday, February 19th from 5-7 pm. (There is a sign-up sheet outside the classroom door.)

We will plan to celebrate Valentine's Day in the classroom. Please send cards and snacks with your child on Wednesday, the 14th!

Please go to the school website and complete two parent surveys. The responses will be kept confidential. This will help to make improvements to our school.

Mark your calendars for the parent-teacher conferences on Monday, February 19th from 5-7 pm. I have posted a sign-up sheet outside of the classroom door (appointments are required and are available in 15 minute increments.) If you cannot come to the school to sign up, please send a note with your child, call the school, or send me an e-mail.
