Parent teacher conferences are Monday, October 1st from 5-7pm. Please let me know if you would like a time slot. 

The County Literature Fair will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd, here at NLCA. Set-up will be the evening before from 4:00-5:30.

I am going to postpone the Bible test until next Friday.

I have asked each student to bring in $5 to cover the cost of the craft we are making for their grandparents. They also need to bring in the props they are using for the grandparents day skit. Please send in both on Monday, September 24th. 

Grandparent's Day celebration is on Friday morning, September 28th. School will be dismissed following the ceremony. 

The fundraiser for school apparel is due back on Thursday, September 27th. 

Parent Teacher Conferences are Monday, October 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet outside my door.  Please message me if you would like for me to put you in a time slot.

We are sending supplies to the Carolinas tomorrow! Please help by sending in non-perishable foods, gloves, masks, rubber boots, diapers, or baby wipes by noon tomorrow!

Mark your calendar for our Grandparent's Day Celebration on Friday, September 28th. Students will be dismissed early that day. 

The Literature Fair is on Tuesday, September 25th. Every 5th grader must participate.

This year Chapel is separated between elementary and secondary. Parents are still welcome to attend.  5th grade will meet in the new gym on Wednesdays from 1:45-2:15. On the last Wednesday of each month, everyone will have chapel together from 8:00-8:45. 

We will be meeting at the flagpole this Tuesday, September 11th, in remembrance of 9/11. Families are welcome to join.

The school literature fair is on Tuesday, September 25th. All 5th graders are required to participate. Students should be reading their book at home.

Mark your calendars for our annual Grandparents Day Celebration on Friday, September 28th. (School will dismiss immediately following the presentation.)

Don't forget that your kiddo can "clip up" for bringing in a signed note saying you read the blog. Please send in those Box Tops as well!
