Week of May 20th - 24th

Our field trip is on Monday! If you want to follow me, please be at the school just before 8:00 am. If  not, please be at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine just before 9:00 am. Don't forget to bring a towel, swim suit, and a packed lunch. 

Our school awards day will be on Thursday at 1:30.

Yay! It's the last week of school!

Week of May 13th - 17th

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the parents involved in making teacher appreciation week so special! You all are too kind! I love this class so very much; they have touched my heart in such a special way! 

Thank you for sending the permission slips and money for the field trip. Please let me know if you plan to join us (if you haven't done so already.) All are welcome to attend!

 Awards day will be on Thursday, May 23rd, at 1:30 p.m. 

We will be taking all of our final exams this week...please make sure your kiddo is ready for each one! They will also make one final (one-minute) presentation to the class from 

God's World News Magazine. 

Tests and Quizzes:

Monday -  math and history quizzes

Tuesday - spelling trial test and health quiz

Wednesday - spelling test  and reading vocab quiz (last ones!)

Thursday -  health and language final exams

Friday - Bible test (Numbers 6:24-26), math and history final exams

Week of May 6th - 10th

Achievement tests are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. 

 Each day of testing has a theme to encourage students. A note went home today explaining the theme of each day; please encourage your kiddo to participate in the fun! We will have a talent show on Thursday afternoon. If you child wants to participate, they must turn in the form by Tuesday.

Awards day is at 1:30 pm on Thursday, May 23rd.

Our class field trip is on Monday, May 20th. Parents are more than welcome to join! Just let me know if you plan to attend!

We will have a spelling test and reading vocab quiz on Monday. That is all we will test on this week because of achievement tests. The following week, we will be taking all of our final exams!
