Week of January 28th - February 1st

 We will be celebrating "Winn -Dixie" week. The entire school is reading Because of Winn-Dixie and we have several fun things planned for each day! 

The following week, February 4th-8th, will be homecoming week. Please help our class win the most points and get to go to  lunch at La Carreta!

Homecoming Week is scheduled for February 4th-8th. Plan to help our class win a trip to La Carreta by dressing according to the theme each day! We will also have the penny war competition again this year.

I realize that the quiz and test schedule is a full one this week; if the kids aren't ready when the scheduled day comes, we'll postpone until the following day. (the majority of the quizzes are open book.)

Week of January 3rd-4th

Happy New Year! I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday! 

• The school spelling bee is on Friday, January 4th (spelling test will not be until Tuesday, January 8th.)
• We are planning to get back into the swing of things this week by reviewing where we left off before Christmas. 
• The science test (cumulative semester exam) will be Monday, January 7th.
•  The semester officially ends on Friday, January 11th.
