Hey guys! You are in my prayers. I love and miss you! Please let me know if you have any questions! You will need to click the link to obtain your assignments.

Packet 3 Link

·       Algebra: 8.4; read the section and watch the video then complete all odd blue boxes (#’s 1-51; 14 problems total) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQE-scWKDlw
-Don’t forget about the table on p. 275 to help with important squares and cubes!

·       Biology: Chapter 16; read the chapter then complete the “Observe” on page 325

·       Health: Skim chapter 6 then choose a medical career that you think may be interested in for yourself. In a brief, one-page essay, tell me what interests you and why you may consider it as a career for yourself. Use terms from the chapter as you research the specific job. There are six “Medical Careers” found within this chapter, but if you prefer you may choose one of 12 throughout the book. (Look at the 2nd page of the book, under “Contents” to find the page where all 12 careers are listed.)

·       Anatomy: Read chapter 12, the Lymphatic System. Then complete both “In the Lab” #9 on page 428 and #11 on page 443. When making your models, use any material available; play-dough, clay, slime, even food! There are great images online (and in the chapter) of the four structures you will create, as well as videos on YouTube for ideas.

·       Earth and Space: Read 10.1 – 10.3 (pages 281 – 304.) Complete 10A, front and back (if you can’t print, feel free to sketch the lunar phases and eclipses. Find a current news article pertaining to something you read in chapter 10 and write a brief, one-page essay on the article. Please include a picture or link of the article when you submit your work.

The work assigned in the packet will be due April 21st. Please let me know if you have any questions! You may print the handouts or just write your results from your experiments (or math problems) on plain paper to submit; you do not need a printer to complete any of my assignments. Also, I used all of the remaining "Christmas bonus points" in case some of you were wondering why your grade changed a few points. I have attached a link to all of the posted assignments that are not found in your book: LINK
