Mrs. Kinney, the computer teacher, has asked me to remind the class that they have a homework assignment due on Monday morning.

If your child is going to the literature fair, please make sure you form is submitted by Wednesday, October 25.

We are trying to implement technology in the classroom this year. If your child has a phone, i-pad or tablet of some sort, please have them bring them to school next week. We are going to use them in math as well as to research the current event presentation in history.

Friday - Bible test (Ephesians 4:31-32)

The lunch menu for Monday and Tuesday will be flipped. (Mon. is beef stroganoff and Tues. is pork bbqs.)

The science and history tests next week are cumulative, so please make sure ample study time goes in at home! Every student has been given study guides with all of the information. 

The Nicholas County Literature Fair will be held at our school on Monday. Congratulations to our winners! Six of our 5th graders are going!

Don't forget about the Literature Fair on Tuesday, October 10! All 5th graders are required to make a presentation. 

On Wednesday, October 11, Rachelle Wilfong, a local author, will be visiting our school to read and discuss her book. Your child can purchase an autographed copy if they bring in $15.
