Congratulations on a wonderful first week of 5th grade! I would like to thank you parents for making that possible by preparing your child for class and purchasing the necessary supplies. I can honestly say that each of your children already have a very special place in my heart! Please note that picture day is next Friday, August 26th. Also, our Grandparent's Day Celebration will be on Friday, September 30th. There will be a trial spelling test on Tuesday and a final spelling test on Wednesday. Please help your child work on memorizing Romans 10:13 for the coming week as well. Thank you again and have a blessed weekend!

Homework Policy:

My goal is to teach everything in class each day. We will work as a class to accomplish each assignment during class time. If a student doesn't complete the work in class, it is expected to be turned in at the beginning of class the following day. I am available during study hall to help so that work doesn't have to be taken home. We even review for tests in class, but I do expect students to study for them individually, whether in a study hall or at home. If a student is absent, the work will be due the following day.
