Wek of January 5-9

As we prepare to return to school for the beginning of the 3rd nine weeks, please come ready to work hard! We will review in all classes before moving forward into the new material. If you have any questions about your report cards, please email me. 

Finance: Review and complete chapter 7. Please complete 7.4 for homework Monday evening. Tuesday  homework: find three scholarships you would consider applying for and list them for me (can submit on the handout or in the classroom.) Wednesday assignment: Write a 500 word essay to use in an actual scholarship application. Thursday we will do a math field day test then discuss the scholarship essays on Friday.

7th Grade: Begin chapter 6 on mammals, quiz Wednesday. Complete 6.1 section review for homework Monday evening. Tuesday homework: complete quiz 16. 6A due Friday. Be working on animal habitat that is due in a few weeks. Closed-book quiz 17 Friday. 

8th Grade: Begin chapter 6 on the Seas, quiz Wednesday.  Monday homework: 6.1 section review questions page 1-6. Tuesday homework: quiz 16. 6a due Friday. Closed-book quiz (#17) Friday,

9/10th Grades: Begin chapter 11, quiz on Wednesday and Friday. Monday homework: section review questions 11.1 page 192; bonus opportunity - define the terms on page 192. Tuesday homework: quiz 17. Integumentary lab due Friday. Thursday homework: find a Bible verse related to purity and write it on an index card with a paragraph explaining why you chose it. 

11/12th Grades: Begin chapter 8 on the endocrine system. Quiz Friday on sections 8.1-8.2. Monday homework: 8.1 section questions 1-7 (page 274.) Tuesday homework: Complete handout from 8.2. Please visit the CDC site and study obesity, then write a one page paper on how it is affecting our nation and what you suggest we do about it; due Friday.
