Week of August 24-28

Thanks for a great start to the school year! All of my students will be researching a National Park and presenting that information to your class. Please use your spare time to begin learning about the park you selected. Due dates will be given as we progress. (7th grade will select their park on 8/24.)

Chemistry: Read sections 1.1-1.4 for the week. Complete section reviews and practice problems. Quiz 1.
Matter and Energy: Read sections 1.1-1.3. Complete section reviews and practice problems. Quiz 1.
Earth and Space: Read sections 1.1-1.3. Complete section review questions. Quiz 1.
Financial Math: Read sections 1.1-1.5 and submit assigned activities in the Ramsey Classroom.
Order and Design: Read 1.1-1.5 for the week. Complete section reviews and take quiz 1.

Homework Policy:

My goal is to teach everything in class each day. We will work as a class to accomplish each assignment during class time. If a student doesn't complete the work in class, it is expected to be turned in at the beginning of class the following day. I am available during study hall to help so that work doesn't have to be taken home. We even review for tests in class, but I do expect students to study for them individually, whether in a study hall or at home. If a student is absent, the work will be due the following day.
