Week of September 16-20

Finance: "What do you value?" due Monday. We will cover sections 2.2-2.4. Plan to read those sections and complete activities.

Chemistry: We will begin chapter 3. Please read the chapter for the week. Physical and chemical change lab report due Tuesday. Quiz Tuesday (open book) and Friday (closed book.)

Matter and Energy: 3.1 section review questions 1-8 due Monday. Open-book quiz 4 Monday; lab Thursday. Closed-book quiz Friday. Read sections 3.2-3.3.

Order and Design: Open-book quiz 4 Monday, germination lab due Wednesday. Activity sheet 2B Due Thursday; closed-book quiz Friday. Read sections 2.5-2.7.

Health: Read sections 2.2-2.4, closed-book quiz 4 on Friday.

Homework Policy:

My goal is to teach everything in class each day. We will work as a class to accomplish each assignment during class time. If a student doesn't complete the work in class, it is expected to be turned in at the beginning of class the following day. I am available during study hall to help so that work doesn't have to be taken home. We even review for tests in class, but I do expect students to study for them individually, whether in a study hall or at home. If a student is absent, the work will be due the following day.
