Week of September 26th - 30th

7/8 Science: Test 2 Tuesday, engineer pumpkin drop contraption

7th Math: quiz 7 Tuesday, quiz 8 Thursday, Test 2 Friday

Chemistry: chapter 4 quiz Monday; engineer pumpkin drop contraption

Physics: quiz 5 Monday; engineer Pumpkin drop contraption

Health: quiz 6 Thursday, read pages 70-83

All of the secondary students will be participating in a STEM project where we design something to prevent the destruction of a pumpkin when dropped from the Summersville lake lighthouse. We will plan to drop them on Tuesday, October 4th, weather permitting.

Students need to put together a costume for grandparents day. They are portraying a person in history. That performance will be on Friday, October 7th.

Homework Policy:

My goal is to teach everything in class each day. We will work as a class to accomplish each assignment during class time. If a student doesn't complete the work in class, it is expected to be turned in at the beginning of class the following day. I am available during study hall to help so that work doesn't have to be taken home. We even review for tests in class, but I do expect students to study for them individually, whether in a study hall or at home. If a student is absent, the work will be due the following day.
