Week of October 5th - 9th

We are following the directives of the Nicholas County Health Department and the policies and procedures we have put into place to combat Covid-19. If anyone in your immediate household has been exposed to the virus or has had a Covid-19 test, please refrain from sending your children to school until a negative test result is received. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Algebra: quiz 5 Wednesday on sections 2.1 - 2.3; complete sections 2.2 - 2.6

Chemistry: Significant Figures and Scientific notation, section 3.1, quiz 3.1 & 3.2

Order & Design: Quiz 4 Monday (open book), complete sections 2.5 - 2.7, quiz 5 Friday

Matter & Energy: 3.1 Motion & Forces, pp.44-53, quiz 4 Thursday

Homework Policy:

My goal is to teach everything in class each day. We will work as a class to accomplish each assignment during class time. If a student doesn't complete the work in class, it is expected to be turned in at the beginning of class the following day. I am available during study hall to help so that work doesn't have to be taken home. We even review for tests in class, but I do expect students to study for them individually, whether in a study hall or at home. If a student is absent, the work will be due the following day.
