Tests next week:

Only spelling! It is a reduced list, but we will only have one test on Tuesday, with no trial test.

The Christmas Play will be on Thursday, December 7, at 10:00 a.m. and  7:00 p.m. Information was sent home on Friday, December 1.  All  students need a long sleeve plain black shirt, plain black pants, and black socks.  Please send these items in as soon as possible.  I suggest that you sign your child out after the first performance and take them home to rest. The day is wonderful, but long!

We are celebrating Christmas every Friday at school.  Wear your favorite Christmas attire, and we will have a little Christmas surprise each week!

Welcome back! I hope you and your family have had a blessed week! I was able to enjoy two of my favorites: lots of food and family!

I realize the test schedule seems very full for this week; please know that nearly every subject has a reduced amount of material being tested on. I will give out the study guides for the science and history tests on Monday.

Wednesday, November 15, we will be having our School Thanksgiving Dinner. Our party has been postponed until Friday, December 8th. 

Mark your calendars for our Annual Christmas Play on Thursday, December 7.  There will be performances at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Students are required to be at both shows.  We will not have a Bible test until after the Christmas Play. Each student will receive a weekly grade for Bible based on their performance and behavior during practice.

We are now reading Remember the Alamo for our next book report. Please help me to make sure your child doesn't fall behind. 

There will be a PTF meeting on Wednesday, November 8, at 8:00 a.m. for all parents that want to volunteer for our school this year.  We will be discussing fundraisers to raise money for some playground equipment and other materials for our school.

We will be having our annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday, November 15.  An invitation was sent home Thursday, November 2.  Please return it by Friday, November 10, if you plan to attend.

If your child is going to the literature fair, please make sure you form is submitted by Wednesday, October 25.

We are trying to implement technology in the classroom this year. If your child has a phone, i-pad or tablet of some sort, please have them bring them to school next week. We are going to use them in math as well as to research the current event presentation in history.
