Finance: Turn in resumes by Monday; complete sections 7.4-7.6; we will learn how to apply for scholarships throughout the week.
Chemistry: Exam 7 (chapters 10-11) Tuesday; cover 12.1-12.3 for the week.
Matter and Energy: Read sections 10.2-10.3 for the week; magnetism lab Tuesday; quiz 19 Tuesday.
Order and Design: Begin chapter 8; read pages 278-298. Quiz Wednesday; complete activity 8A.
Health: Test 5 Tuesday; begin chapter 7; read pages 190-196 for the week.

Week of February 24-28
Turn in all three days of snow packet work with properly headed papers!
For Monday, February 24th:
Finance: Take the chapter 7 pre-test and read 7.1.
Chemistry: Read pages 232-235 and answer SR questions 1-5.
Order and Design: Read pages a269-273 and discuss SR questions as a class.
Matter and Energy: Complete "Practice" questions 1-4 on page 233; show all work.
Health: Read page 180-183.
Finance: Exam, Chapter 6. Feel free to use your book or notes if needed. I will take up the study guide next week.
Chemistry: Complete chapter review “define” of ten terms on page 231.
Matter and energy: Read 9.4 and answer section review questions 1-5 on page 234.
Order and design: After reading the lab on page 260-263, build a paper airplane and fly it six times, three slowly and three fast. Record the time and the distance, then find the mean for each of the types of throws. (See notebook paper on page 262. No need to find aspect ratio.) Which type of bird did your plane most resemble? (Images on page 263 will be helpful.) I will take this date up on Monday and record as a lab grade.
Health: No assignment because you did work on Wednesday in place of art class!
Week of February 17-21
No school for students on Monday, February 17th.
Finance: We will finish chapter 6 then take the quiz and exam.
Chemistry: We will cover sections 10.2-10.3 and plan for a lab on Friday. Quiz Monday.
Matter and Energy: We will review 9.1-9.2, then cover 9.3. Lab day Friday; quiz Monday and Thursday.
Order and Design: We will cover 7.3-7.4; quiz 20 Monday, quiz 21 Thursday. Lab day (paper airplanes) Friday.
Health: We will complete section 6.4 and take quiz 14 on Friday.
